In October 2006 we successfully re-negotiated a commercial lease on the prestigious Grade II-listed Denzell House in Bowdon, Cheshire, securing a further decade’s rental income on the property.

 

Following our purchasing of the property, which had an existing lease due to expire in 2008, we negotiated with the tenants International Co-operative and Mutual Insurance Federation a new lease of 10 years.

 

The tenancy involves occupancy of the first and second floors of the building, with current rent payable of £68,649 per annum.

 

Denzell House was built by Robert Scott in 1874 as a private residence and is set in 3.64 hectares of landscaped parkland. Its varied history includes a spell as a military hospital during the Great War.
